When it comes to protecting your family, “good enough” isn’t good enough. The North Carolina (NC) Concealed Carry Handgun (CCH) Course at Mining Ridge Armory is a full‑day training experience that blends state‑approved curriculum, real‑world context, and practical range work in a focused, small‑group environment.

You’ll work through the official North Carolina Department of Justice (NCDOJ) Concealed Carry Handgun Training materials (the “red book”) along with additional, experience‑driven instruction from Mining Ridge Armory. We’ll cover safety, fundamentals, North Carolina use‑of‑force law, where you can and cannot carry, and what actually happens before, during, and after a defensive encounter.

At the end of the course, qualified students will receive a certificate of completion that satisfies the state training requirement to apply for an NC Concealed Handgun Permit. Issuance of the permit is handled by your county sheriff’s office and is not guaranteed by course completion.
